SIM preferences keep changing on their own

I have two SIM cards in my phone, lets call them SIM 1 and SIM 2. I am using SIM 1 as my primary one, and therefore calls messages and data are set for SIM one. For the third time this month my phone changed all preferences to SIM 2 on its own. I would not care that much but I do not have data plan on SIM 2 and my service provider offers that when ypu use data they will activate this service for you which leads to additional charges that are totally unnecessary for me cause I have dataplan on SIM 1. This is really annoying, please fix this. What is the point of the 2 SIM options if you cant set it up and keep it as you want...

Try to reset your SIM card options in Settings -> General -> Restore. How old is your SIM1? If it is 5+ years old, ask your provider to change your SIM card. There could also be a problem with your phone's hardware—make a restore as in my first suggestion and try swapping SIM1 and SIM2 and creating a new configuration. If this problem reappears, you should visit a Samsung service center.
