Samsung Galaxy s²³ Series Photography Thread.

Going from the Samsung Unpacked Event and all the coverage about the capabilities of the new camera module, and software on these new models along with the night shots I'm super excited to see what these powerful phone's can accomplish.

I'm confident we are going to see some truly awesome photograph's being shared on the Samsung Community Forum from owners of these new Samsung phone's. 😎

When uploading your images could you please confirm the model of Samsung Galaxy s²³ Series phone you own along with any camera settings you've perhaps used 👍

I felt that most of the camera related improvements are with the pro section and/or camera raw module of it.
It's been heavily focused on pros using the phones camera capabilities.
How much of that normal people will see the difference is definitely worth seeing.
Shutter lag (there seems to be an option to speed it up in settings now)
For me most of the improvements seem software based rater then hardware which is good.
The thing to watch out will be how the battery holds up with the new snapdragon and the 200mp binning and stuff.

Initial camera samples seem promising.
Improvements in zoom and hdr with more balanced photos.
Ove bright photos have been toned down.
One sample I saw of a portrait with back-light sun looked impressive.
They seemed to fix a lot if the complaints of the S21 ultra and the S22 ultra .

The reason to get the phone are definitely speed Improvements with regards to the newer chip and faster storage.

I tried to take 200mpix photos with my new S23 ultra. File size was ~42MB compared to 9MB using "normal camera". I don't share that picture here, I need to find some more suitable object to take photos. But looks quite promising, pictures can be zoomed a LOT.

Had a little session with camera before doing school run tonight. Quite impressed so far. Also finding the phone in general quite fast/responsive 👌

I just received mine and I noticed a purple flare when using front camera,have anyone experienced that,or my camera it's faulty?

The light is white,in low light conditions the image it's washed away, it's like a 10 -15 years ago 5 mp camera when the light is off🫣
