Samsung chat messages

i have a question when using the s22u i used samsung messages to my mum and brother but since putting the sim in the s23u its doent seem to work iv checked all the setting are the same on both phone but the s23u just sends them as a normal text message and i cant work out why iv tried resetting the app WIFI on and off forced stopped and clear cache and data ,when its using chat its blue but normal text is green is it something im doing wrong ?

v been using google messages for the last 4 week as the samsung chat wasnt working like it did on my s22 ultra and now my rich communications setting has disapeared now when i turned the samsung message app back on

but it did as ask me to register to use google messages on the samsung app but sods law no one has texted me today to see if its working also im on vodafone so not sure if thats why rich communications has gone i did have it last month

Having huge issues with this but haven't changed phone or moved sim card....assumed it was to do with the latest Android update 🤷‍♀️
But all my texts are green, I don't get the handy little words sent, delivered and read by messages anymore.
All research online points me towards RCS but not only is it Off but its Greyed out so i cannot turn it back on 😭
Most advice online is for Google messages (I don't want that, just want my texts to work again) or for iPhone Imessages 🙄
Anyone? I'm lost now!

I found this while searching google.  Id like to know answer too as my S23 Ultra isnt working for that suddenly.   I  tried following instructions etc .   I dont see "Rich Communications "  Where do i find that?   I've looked in message setting  and my regular phone settings.
