S23 Series / Samsung Unpacked 2023

With the unpacked event inevitably close...is anyone already eyeing up the S23 ? 👀

Really interested to see more about the new 200mp Ultra camera sensor, especially when paired globally (we hope) with the latest Snapdragon chip.... 📸

The available  evidence suggests the S23 Ultra will not be a particularly significant upgrade from the 2022 model,even if much has been made of the the 200 mega pixel sensor. However does not tell the whole story .  Some technical information in this article. https://thesmartphonephotographer.com/truth-about-phone-megapixels/  Nonetheless the camera should still be further enhanced for low light conditions and we do not have the official information yet.

As long as the price hike isn't too much, I'm planning on upgrading my S22 Ultra for an S23 Ultra. Quite happy with the S22, but a new phone every year  is one of my few  treats nowadays.

What made you opt for the green varient  ?

Well im using nearly 400gb already so would worry the 512gb may not give me enough. Have the 1tb s22u so got the equivalent...

Green looks the best to me! (Slap a case on it anyway but still)

I went for the Ultra 512mb in green; quite fancied the lavender, but decided green at the last minute; disappointed to see that Samsung seems to have binned the LED view case, which I've had for most of my galaxy phones.
