S23 RCS chats not available

I had RCS chats available just a couple days ago and used it for months at this point. For some reason now my S23 ultra says they are not available for the device? Has anyone else had this issue? I've made sure to update everything and there aren't any toggles to switch.

This worked for me, too. All messages were still there afterwards. 

Something about the layers of updates over the messages app seems to have messed it up. In the Google Store uninstall the app. It will ask if you want to remove updates say yes. Then click update and it will reinstall the app with a cleaner set of updates. RCS worked for me after doing this.

This is the solution that fixed it for me today:

1. Enable flight mode;

2. Disable Google messages app (there was no option to uninstall because it is now considered a system app);

3. Enable Google messages (Settings >> Apps >>  Search Google Messages >> Open Google messages and you'd find the option to enable it); 

4. Disable flight mode;

5. Open Google messages (it'll give you prompts like you just downloaded it).

Didn't have to clear my app data. Hope this helps someone.
