S23 phone calls

Hello everyone

Wanted to find out I know its bo brainer but when using phone calls on s23 base model will it use alot of battery??

When I was on a call 30 mins from 64 down to 60% 

Is that OK or a bit usage

Phone calls really don't take a lot of battery. It will take more battery if you keep screen on while on a call. But losing 4% with a 30 minute call I don't think that's anything to worry about.

Ok so if my screen off in a call how do u do that press power button lock it ?

Pressing the power button or just putting your phone to your ear will turn the screen off, Or it will turn off itself.

Battery usage can increase significantly if your signal strength decreases I.e if you have a very poor signal your phone has to work much harder to maintain a connection also using a Bluetooth headset etc will use additional power during a call. But 4% for a 30min call is pretty good going. Hope this helps

Thank you so much yes you are right about thr signal sooo frustrating my area the low bar or 1 bar reception.

I didn't pay attention on s21 plus but that had same issue.

You can always try WiFi calling, if signal is poor. If you do not see it in your drop down menu, or are unable to add it. Then contact your network provider. They may need to enable their end, or they may not support it.

I have wifi calling but doesn't that use alot of battery ? Reason saying that because on my s21 plus it did
