Just updated, first charging post update...been charging for an hour and charged not even 20% (1% - 19% currently) using an original 45W adapter + cable. This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm so upset. Wish there was a way to go back to 6.1. This is crazy. Feels illegal, like I don't even own what I bought, just got effed over with software. Horrid.

I know, but I've never seen it go above 25W anyways. On the tool it doesn't say which protocol it uses, on ONE U.I. 6.1. u could tell by the colour though, different shades of blue. Still I had never seen the 45W (SCH 2.0.) one, neither on S23U-S25U. We have the original bulkier 45W samsung chargers for sale in our shop, the come with the 5A cable too.

That never really bothered me though, the 25W was still fast enough for my use...did miss my 67W on a cheaper xiaomi though heh, admittedly the only thing I missed but yea, that was sweet.

Strange, mine have all shown which SFC it's using, more recently it's brief, but it states it. Same goes for the tablets.

If your charger never shows as SFC 2.0 in the UI then it suggests a cable or charger incompatibility.

I have 3 45W chargers myself, 1 original Samsung, 2 third party ones, third party ones have varying success using SFC 2.0 on each of my various devices. The S25 Ultra however seems to charge with SFC 2.0 regardless of charger or cable.

The key really is making sure the charger at least supports PD 2.0, whilst having PPS support is even better.

Yeah, you're right, SFC 2.0 isn't really necessary on Samsung phones as the benefits are minimal, however it's not quite true for their tablets. The Tab S8 Ultra for example shaves off around 30m charging time when using SFC 2.0 over SFC 1.0.

Same here.. Zfold6 after latest One UI upgrade seems more sensitive with cables and chargers. before I always got SFC with my third party 67W charges and cables, now after cable connected I got 5 seconds of SFC and then back to common Charging.. power consumption maxed out at 15w only(

Me too, I have to reboot the phone to get it to charge by wire or even to use Android Auto (bought a dongle to stop messing around with rebooting all the time), but its sporadic, UI7 has a software issue with the port, wirless charging works. This is being reported is many places over the internet, we are not the only ones.

I have tried to troubleshoot.  While the battery lasts longer than on UI6.2, it's still not holding it's charges like before the 2 updates.

Also, I wish the format of apps went back to before the updates. Now I have to scroll all the way down to find an app as opposed to sliding to different windows to find an app, which was faster.

Oh, also what happened to the feature of grouping phone numbers in the contact section of phone app. I was able to group my phone numbers by Medical, Community, etc.?

Getting exactly the same as Gandiik. Again the only thing that has changed is the One UI update.

It is definitely the update, and yes there are multiple examples of people experiencing the same.

My S23 won't charge now unless switched off and it is extremely slow now also in charging, straight after the IO 7 software upgrade. Tried all the recommended fixes but not helping. Can anyone advise what is the next steps should be taking to resolve this? Thanks.
