Can you double check you definitely deleted the pairing @RAIDMEUK from your phone bluetooth section, and from the Samsung Wearable App.

@RAIDMEUK: Has your partner's son successfully paired the Buds to his device? When you place the Buds in the charging case, close the lid, then open it, the Buds will automatically enter pairing mode, and a pop up window will appear on any nearby Samsung smartphones, which is likely to be why you are experiencing this issue. As a workaround, should the problem persist, you may wish to try heading to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Advanced settings > Block pairing requests, and select the Galaxy Buds.
