On the Netflix app, the maximum resolution that can be displayed on the S23 Ultra is SD. Netflix say this is because the phone doesn't support Widevine L1.
When can I expect to get HD resolution support for my £1250 phone?

Phone supports L1. Did you check from within Netflix (under app settings/playback specification) if L1 is enabled? If not, remove Netflix, restarted and reinstall N again. L1 will then be enabled.

Hey I also had this issue and I managed to solve it by doing some things. First, try clearing the data of the app, then sign in using your account details and not google smart lock. This is what managed to solve it for me. It seems using the automatic sign in option brings with it some old settings or something.

Did you try the method I described? This is what seemed to work for me. Uninstalling and reinstalling gave me the same results as your screenshot.
