My s23 ultra battery drains too fast

Everyone says this phone lasts for 7-9 hr on hardcore gaming amd 1.5-2 days of normal use, but my s23 ultra drops a percentage every 4-5 mins. I am not even a gamer, i mostly use the phone for texting and watching videos. I went to service center to get this checked and they run some test using a device and told me that my phone is perfectly fine and what I am getting on my phone is normal. I'm bit confused on what to believe

You have to understand what is normal use for you maybe not the same for others. I too have seen people post 4 days of battery, I cant get more than a 24 hours.

But I am a heavy user with 1000s of emails a day and odd game, Spotify and videos.

I had a similar issue. Now I'm getting 6 hours screen on. 1 day 19hrs off.

Some of the things I had to limit, vibration, screen dropped down to full HD plus, no 5g. There are loads more I could do but I'm happy with where my battery is at.

7 hours screen on time by using dark mode. I have increased my brightness as always found dark mode a tad offensive on the eyes.

Here's an interesting fact I found. I always use a fixed brightness and with 15% brightness, I get less SoT than at 30% brightness on a full charge.

As for those numbers you quoted, I know of no one claiming 8h whilst hard-core gaming. I'm a gamer but I play mostly medium taxing games and I find at best around 7.5 up to 10h SoT possible with my use. This is however a no compromise setup (dark mode, fixed brightness, NFC and BT, 5G WQHD+, 120Hz, normal mode) so there's plenty of room to tweak better battery life.

That brightness trick is the best tip I have been given this year. Suddenly getting loads more battery.

Few questions for you.

Did you use smart switch to restore?

What set up are you currently using? 120hz, dark mode......
