Issues with super fast charging 2.0

I'm using a anker 45W charger with an anker cable, and Whenever I connect it, it works for a few seconds, "super fast charging 2.0" and in settings it says that a super fast charger is connected, but then the charging circle comes up again but is green and says fast charger connected, and there is a difference in charging time. When I first used the phone and super fast charging, it worked but has suddenly gained issues. Is this just a bug a software update has caused? Cause apparently I'm not the only one with this and I didn't want to just contact Samsung instantly cause it might get fixed during a future update, which is apparently soon.

It will be the charger you are using you need a official Samsung charger and a USB to USB cable

It was working perfectly fine before. And anker is a popular charger brand for Samsung, and iPhone etc, and everyone else with this charger isn't having issues. And it works when it wants to work, I need to unplug it then insert it for it to stay 2.0. I'll wait and see if it gets fixed after the next update, could be a bug or something.

Have a wordnwith the accessory manufacturer and you can send feedback via the Samsung Members app @Ross256

You may get a reply to use an oem cable and brick from Samsung.

Can you as a process of elimination try a Samsung Option ?

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I don't have a 45W charger from Samsung, just anker. I'll change the cable and use the one the phone came with and see if that makes a difference.

Actually, I probably have the same Anker charger as the OP (if it's the GaN one) and mine is working no problem using the cable that came with it. Superfast charging 2.0 starts and stays on, no change in the charging time. I might suggest it's an issue with the charger. Anker has a good reputation for customer support and backing their products. I would try reaching out to them.

I bought the Anker ace 45w with a 100w cable and I'm having the same exact issue, I will plug my charger in for a few seconds and the phone disconnects and reconnects but In regular "super fast charging" not the "super fast charging 2.0"

And I can 100% confirm that it was working perfectly fine prior to one of the most recent updates to the phone.

Coming from the Galaxy s 23 ultra

Well that's not good. If the behavior of my charger changes I'll post it here as well.

Hello everyone, after some tests I can confirm that the phone still shows ultra fast charging but to only 36W, since the new update 45W doesn't work. Tried with 4 different chargers(1 that supports up to 100W and the other 3 up to 65W, from 2 different brands and all different models) and 2 different cables(rated at 100W) all of which are PD 3.0 and support PPS (requirements for the phone to charge at 45W) , also 3 of the chargers show in the box compatible with Samsung 45W charging and worked before the update. I made the measurements using a power meter and also with the app Accubattery(without any meter as control).

With some chargers it is even lower than 36W because the phone is unable to properly communicate with the charger, one of my chargers only charges to 28W.
