Issues with GalaxyS23 Ultra - NOT at all Seamless

As a professional who relies heavily on Outlook for managing work emails, calendar appointments, and contacts, I expected the Samsung S23 to seamlessly integrate with this widely-used application. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Despite multiple attempts to install Outlook from the Google Play Store, the Safety Check consistently flags the application as non-compliant, rendering it inaccessible on my device. This limitation has been incredibly frustrating, as it hinders my ability to stay organized and communicate effectively for work-related tasks. I have made numerous efforts to troubleshoot the issue, including clearing cache, updating the device firmware, and even contacting both Samsung's customer support and Google's support channels. Regrettably, their suggestions and recommendations have proven futile in resolving the problem. They even recommended me to reset my device and get a software update at service center. This proved more futile and I can no more update my phone. Over the air update is no more possible and I always get Registration failed error.
Does anyone else has similar issue.

@Amit04: Where did you purchase your Galaxy S23 Ultra from, and where are you currently based? If you are outside the region that the phone was intended to be used in, then this can lead to compatibility issues with some apps and features, due to software and licensing variances that exist from country to country.

The Outlook app comes pre-installed on our more recent smartphones, and should be accessible by swiping up from the Home screen and checking the Microsoft folder in the Apps Drawer.

Hi Amit, totally agree with AndrewL I've had this situation in Asia. For what it's worth, I would prepare to reset the phone, after that process wipe the cache partition and then check for system updates, then after that proceed to the play app and update. Good luck 🍀

Hello, indeed I bought the phone in France where I loved for a long time and now am back on India. But this problem of company portal and lookout VPN have been there since beginning and now have got worse. Despite software update by Samsung service center in Bangalore situation is the same. Now I am not even able to make an update to the phone. It is still stuck at May update.

Have you tried to download it from the Galaxy Store instead of the Google play store? I have it on my S22ultra and like what Andrew says it came pre installed

Well it is pre-installed and works on my personal email. However as soon as you try to configure it as a corporate email client some error stops it from being configured. My corporate IT guys were also baffled by the error. Seems like some OS issue with Samsung. Trust me our IT teams have spent days on this topic. And yes I have cleared the cache and erased my phone at least three times. But no respite. So at the end for corporate topics I have switched to ever dependable iPhone.

I've had this problem in the UK too. I have my work sim in my S23 Ultra and it seems to upset everything along with Outlook. I no longer get personal notifications, despite the settings being correct on my phone. Really unimpressed and I stuck with Samsung because of the dual sim function 😡
