What's your browser? Does it affect any page you go to? If you open new tab and go to Google what happens? Did you try to clear app data?

@starshine: If you have a VPN enabled via Settings > More connection settings > VPN, try disabling it to see if this helps. While you're here, tap on 'Private DNS' and select 'Automatic'. You may also wish to try heading to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > On > Tap the cog to the right of your router > Forget > Back > Toggle Wi-Fi off then on again, select your router from the list of available networks, and fill in the required fields. Let me know how you get on.

I recently completed an update to the phone and immediately issues with DNS for my ad blocker.
I discovered the problem was in the phones settings: Connection Settings> more connection Settings > and it required the check switch for "Auto update system configurations" to be switched OFF again.
After the recent phone update, Auto update system configurations needs to be turned off again!
