I noticed that the S23 Ultra camera has catastrophic failures, especially in low light, and when a person is walking and taking a picture, the result is very terrible and fully noisy picture. I mean, you think the picture was taken with an economy-class device! Is there a solution to fix that?

All cameras and I mean cameras since they were invented are like this. Under low light conditions you can expect grain and motion blur. This is because the lens is open to let in more light so the shutter speed will be longer catching the movement.
Use flash in low light as it is beyond the law of physics to create what you describe as catastrophic.
Also, in low light and with slow shutter speeds a tripod will protect against the operator not being able to steady the phone.

You will have to

1. Start using the Pro mode and set a faster speed ( at the cost of dark photos)

2. Download camera raw app and again play with shutter speed and light room.

3. Use flash or make sure you have good enough lightning.

4. Download camera assistant app and increase the shutter over there.

You could try all or some of the above.

Shutter lag is an issue with Samsung phones that needs to be addressed.
The current workaround is the camera assistant app.

Happy days.

Maybe you should check your camera settings and see if you have disabled your screen optimiser if not disable it

I do not experience shutter lag. The only reason why the shutter speed is low is when there is inadequate light.

Time and time again as in the OPs case is down to user error. Cameras can't see what the human eye can. Until AI can replicate how the human brain is used to interpret what it sees, this will never change.

We have to agree Samsung can do more and is being lazy.

Look at what Google is doing with the pixels. Where atleast its keeps the face sharp with AI software and stuff. So it's doable.

Mobiles cost as much or even more than a PC nowadays, same like dedicated cameras. So people expect more for their money.

I am quiet impressed with Samsung and their hardware but they have work to do in the software department.
I will say they are going in the right direction with how optimised the S23 ultra is and one ui 5.1.

I've been using SLRs and DSLRs for over 40 years and prefer the control you have over the results. Phone cameras are a compromise. I can't get on with the lack of a viewfinder as I can see next to nothing on the phone display and as for using the display to frame a photo is so fiddly.

These developments to make a phone into a point and shoot camera leave me cold.

Don't get me wrong, it's the way things seem to be going. I have an BMW M4 which is not as exciting as previous analog cars because again it detracts from the experience.

Perhaps it's because I'm an old git!

I am a Nikon Shooter. Love my prime lenses.
But I want Samsung to stop being lazy.
You just need to see the competition and with AI it's getting mad.
