Button Navigation Doesn't Hide

I recently tested out in a shop the Samsung S24 lineup and noticed that they all had button navigation selected. 

When trying the device, I noticed the navigation buttons gracefully hide when not in use. 

How come this feature isn't implemented in the S23 series? Because it doesn't do it for S23.

If you don't mind installing an app, then there is the NavStar module as part of the Good Lock app. It's an official Samsung app. It adds a little dot to the bottom of the screen, which you can double tap to either have the nav buttons hidden or visible. Good Lock 8s available from the Galaxy store.

OK, interesting. I do know about GoodLock and NavStar, just didn't know that was a feature.
