I have an S23 and after the November software update the phone does not connect to my car's BT for music and voice. I was hoping the latest update (Jan '24) would sort it out but it hasn't. I have gone through all the steps repeatedly, reset the phone to factory, and had the data sent to Samsung tech dpt hoping they'd find a solution. Nothing has worked. Anybody else experience a similar issue?

Hi @Kayepunch
Have you already sent us an Error Report through the Members app? If so, then our engineers will take a look at this as soon as possible. Just keep an eye out for an update in your inbox.

Hey @IndirectHorse
I'd suggest you clear the cache from the Bluetooth app on your phone. Open Settings > Apps > Sort by icon (top-right next to Your apps) > Toggle on Show system apps > Tap on the Bluetooth app > Storage > Clear cache.
Also, update your software (Settings > Software update > Download and install) and restart your phone before giving it another try.

Hi, @Kayepunch and @IndirectHorse. Clearing the Bluetooth cache is no longer an available option on One UI 6.
Have you both tried Clearing the cache partition?
This is how you can Wipe the cache partition:
1. With your phone turned off, plug in a USB-C data cable connected to your PC. If you do not have access to a PC, you can plug in a pair of USB-C headphones into your device instead.
2. Press and hold the volume up and side keys simultaneously until the recovery mode menu appears.
3. Use the volume down button to highlight Wipe cache partition, then press the side key.
4. Use the volume down button to highlight Yes, then press the side key.
5. Use the volume up button to highlight Reboot system, then press the side key.
However, if the issue persists after doing this, I'd recommend submitting an Error report (if you haven't done so already) and waiting for our developers to get back to you with an update.
