So I got the s23 ultra and smartswitched all my data over from my s20 5g. Everything was working fine, the two apps I'm having an issue with worked fine.

 Then boom, teeny system update on the 3rd and my tide business banking app and grindr no longer work. 

They both crash immediately back to the he screen, tried giving unrestricted battery, deleting and reinstalling, force stopping and clearing cache but nothing has worked yet. 

Any ideas anyone?

 I have the same issue with Grindr and you need to send a email to the developer (Grindr) itself. It hasn't been solved yet. I also tried everything under the moon, Grindr then told me it's a bug in the app.

Thank you so much! Tried so many other methods to no avail to get my Greggs app working again but this worked! Free pastries here I come 😁

I have had the same issue with multiple apps and think i have found the issue & workaround. I think the issue is to do with app or phone settings transferred from your old device. I moved everything over from my s21. Before doing factory reset i backed everything up to my PC using smart switch, then did full restore. Same issue apps crashing and. Not opening. Did another factory reset but this time only restored messages contacts and media. Had to manually reinstall apps and change my settings but so far everything working fine. I had the issue with 4 apps and 2 games but all work fine now

It worked for two days and went back to crashing.

I am having the same issue with multiple apps. I have tried everything from app unistalls to factory reseting my device. I've tried the method with the webview component and the secure folder method with no success.

One problematic app is the Tesla app for example. It works the first time I launch it after reseting the app's cache and deleting data. After the first launch, the app no longer works if I don't remove the app's data once again. Some apps don't work at all even with this method.

I noticed that they all share somewhat the same error though, it says the "missing animation keyframe, this should not happen, js engine hermes". The problem is related to multiple apps so I'm really skeptic about the problem being on the apps' side of things,rather than the Samsung software.. I'd really like to have this fixed since I can barely use my phone as of now. Please fix this @Samsung!!

Update: also the send feedback app crashes every now and then while trying to send a feedback about the app crash to the devs. This is just unbelievable! A phone which costs 1.5k, has serious bugs like these, and for a pretty long time too, haven't been fixed in a month.

Mine has been the exact same 1 week after having the phone. I have registered the faults with Samsung and after 4 weeks they have said nothing more they can do

Also having the same issue with apps crashing as soon as they're opened. Bought a S23 Ultra and transferred all my old stuff over from my S20 ultra, some apps work fine and others crash as soon as they open. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps and clearing cache and data but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any advice or has found out how to fix it please let me know too, thank you.
