Will the S21 Ultra to S22 nightmare return in 2022?

I posted last year about my upgrade problems with Samsung sub prime finance provider not in sync with Samsung "upgrade program" and device pre order process.  In essence I upgrade yearly, my old device is paid off and I'm sent the new handset. This is a better deal than with carriers and would highly recommend.

However I would like to upgrade again this year but am I going to to have the same problems with Samsung saying I can upgrade and their finance company saying there was no upgrade available? 

If you search there was many people in the same position. 

Please can Samsung ensure this is sorted in advance.

Tried to upgrade on the main site but my application was declined! Rang the lender who said this shouldn't have happened and it must  be a Samsung issue because all is good at their end. Seems like another clusterf**k

This occurred to me last year. I tried again the next day and it worked. I have just successfully upgraded but it was a chore with Chrome on my S7+ tablet.
