When playing YouTube video, audio plays with a stuck video frame for first few seconds

My youtube app has a problem, when i click on a video to play, the audio will play with a stuck frame from the video for few seconds the frame which is stuck on the screen is not the starting frame of the video, its usually a frame which should come after a few seconds into playing the video and then the video and audio will start playing in sync from whichever frame is stuck on the screen. Tried every troubleshooting possible, clearing cache, data, restarting app, restarting phone, force stopping the app etc but nothing worked, its really frustrating to have a top of the line samsung phone and my wife's s21 works just fine, i even contacted google one cutomer service but they made me go through all the usual troubleshooting.  Can someone in the community help me please

Don't worry Members_O9R2V1f there are many of us out here with the same curious problem as you can see by the related posts under your posting. You most certainly are NOT alone. My S21 Ultra has had this issue for about three weeks now I guess and I must confess that I am starting to get used to it and may even miss it when things get back to normal (semi joke) which they will but nobody knows when. I hope my reassurance that there is no specific problem with your phone gives you at least some comfort. 👍👍

Same here Galaxy S21 5G. The problem started with the latest update. Facebook and YouTube.

I kind of found a work around (i think) which looks like working (at least for me, it is) until samsung comes up with a fix, Go to Google play store > search for YouTube app > click uninstall. This won't uninstall the app but looks like it brings back the app to the YouTube version which came with the phone, when it was new. This is on a S22 Ultra, this has been working for me at least for the last few hours. Please let me know if this worked for you, thanks

This isn't a work around as the issue is not isolated to YouTube.

Worked for me mate! Hopefully they fix the issue with an update so we can actually update the youtube app, untill then willl  use the default version

I am also having this issue, but it's not just YouTube, any embedded media in twitter or WhatsApp will play the audio, but the video will stay at the beginning. Closing and re opening the video fixes it, but that is getting old fast. 

HHappens on WiFi and mobile data so it's not network related.
