The latest ui update wasn't needed. The system was perfectly fine the way it was before. Besides the smoother transitions, nothing else needed changing.

1: Why did you separate notifications and settings into 2 separate tabs? It makes it even more difficult to find your notifications. (Revert this change specifically)

2: Why did you have to change how app tabs looked when minimised. It was easier to manage when they were in a line. ( revert this change specifically)

3: Why can't we change the way the ui looks. the new battery icon in the top right of the screen doesn't even show the percentage anymore.

To summarise. If it ain't broken..... Don't fix it.

Hello, if you want the old quick settings panel layout you  can set it up back to how it was , swipe down on the right > hit the pencil icon > panel settings the click together.

Why don't you make a suggestion to Samsung, for stuff you would like to see.

UI 7 Tip: Quick panel back to before UI 7/similar/combine both panels

2. Go to Galaxy Themes—choose your icon design.

3. Every manufacturer does this. Change happens on all devices. It's like the whole Windows 7-8-10-11 change. Or, more relevantly, the Android 14 to 15 change.

A simple answer to your simple question 'WHY?"

This decision is not Samsung. It is Google Android. Google make these decisions and Samsung have to follow suit.

Samsung add their own layer / skin known as OneUI... but essentially the background operating system is Android.

So as Samsung, or any user of Android operating system... it is not a optional question. It is something that you HAVE to do.

So everyone needs to adapt to change and make workarounds if necessary. This goes the same for Pixel phones, Xiaomi, Oppo and any other android phone. All are now running Android 15.

Soon this version updates again to Android 16. So 'brace yourself'. Maybe they take on board some of the complaints and make some improvements. Let's see.
