Has anyone had problems tethering an S22 to their car ?

Tethering or Bluetooth?

If tethering, does your network tariff include tethering? Not all do.

Tethering through Bluetooth, I've checked and my provider says I can use my data in any way

Tethering and Bluetooth are different functions.

I ask the question to ascertain what device the car has that needs an internet connection (tethering).

It has live traffic and petrol prices etc with the built in sat nav but needs an Internet connection, but cannot be used with a wired connection to the phone.

Ok that makes sense.

Surely it should be as simple as pairing the phone to the car similar to how a Bluetooth connection works?

Not sure why you need tethering?

The car asks to share mobile Internet so I assumed that would be tethering ?

Should just need to pair the car with your phone to use the phone's internet connection
