Yes I recommend them which as they have the ability to stop micro scratches and hopefully damage to the screen if an accidental drop or bump happens.
I use the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector.
It adheres to the phone's Screen all over using silicone, and has no dead spots and works great with the fingerprint Scanner.
Not the cheapest available I submit but in my.opinion one of the best I've been using for years.
It's very case friendly too.
I wouldn't recommend to use the varieties that only have adhesive around the four edges.
