When I remove the s pen from my s22 ultra the phone doesn't register that the pen is no longer inside the device, I've tried restarting the phone, resetting all settings and resetting the pen but nothings worked. Any other solutions would be appreciated.

No the only thing I did was run through the routine diagnostics and then restart it

Have you checked to see whether there is a software update for your S22 Ultra, @140190?:

If there is an update available, please download and install it, and then let me know whether doing so resolves this issue.

I appreciate you checking, and I know that you have already tried a number of steps already. Have you had the opportunity to look at the guide below (again from our colleagues at Samsung US) to see if it helps you get your S Pen recognised correctly again?:

The only thing I haven't tried is changing the tip and that's because I don't have any new ones. I have ordered some though and when they arrive I'll try it and see what happens.
