When I watch Netflix on my Samusng Galaxy S22+ and I want to take a picture at the same time, the screen freezes (the Netflix audio keeps running) for a good few minutes. Phone won't respond to any buttons anymore. What do I do? Is this a hardware or software issue?

It's not always easy to tell what's happening when a glitch happens.
Please check that your apps are updated in the Playstore and Galaxy Store.
It sounds like the two running apps are glitching with each other.
If this happens again you could clear the app(s) via Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear Cache.
Another option to clear the phone's system cache files.
