Technology has moved on with phone'sand their displays, so I'd suggest it shouldn't but of course can't guarantee it won't.
An image if left static on the phone's display for a very long time can have the capability of causing issues.
However going from past posts Samsung will look at helping under the warranty if they assess the phone and find the issue not to be User caused / Accidental damage.
