Since the latest update to Android 13 (One UI 5) the option to schedule a restart has disappeared, and been replaced by a " as and when required" option. In theory this seemed to be O.K but twice now when a restart happened overnight, it seems to get routines running overnight confused. When turning on the phone in the morning, it was still in powersaving mode and black and white display. I thought about setting a routine to restart at a given time, but cannot find the instruction. 
Anybody solved this yet ?

Hi, I noticed the same. Also for the past few weeks the auto-restart was not w working as well. Seems they broke it

I have auto restart turned off but my phone has automatically restarted twice already anyway - I really dislike this option because 1. it restarted during the day and I don't want my phone to be restarting when I go to use it  (sometimes I need to use it quickly for authentication) and 2. my antivirus doesn't open on restart now and I have to remember to open it. Ugh.
