There seem to be a lot of users mentioning faulty screens:
Seems to be easily replicable. Those who received their phones, please try below steps.
- set the screen mode to natural, 120 Hz and WQHD
- Keep the default animated lock screen wallpaper.
- set up a fingerprint.
- lock and try unlocking the phone using a fingerprint.
- same screen issue shows up on the lock screen at the exact same location reported in the Reddit thread.
Same thing happens in screen mode natural and watching YouTube.
What is Samsung doing about this, as it is clearly not looking like an isolated case?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've flagged it on the Samsung side, and will let you know any advice we get.
Also, please send any error reports you can via the Members app on this issue when it happens as any software info might reveal more about what's going on :
Samsung Members > Get Help > Send Feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > attach a description and tick ‘send system log data’ > Send.
(Or: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select Error reports from the dropdown menu, etc.)
Other than that, please keep the thread about the issue at hand rather than attacking each other.
