OK here is an update on using UK phone in the USA as promised.

So I have the S22Ultra and am a Vodafone customer in the UK Arrived in New York yeaterday, I got a sms from Vodafone with usual blurb but also it mentions that service maybe flaky due to At&t turning off 3G services, just as I mentioned previously.

I was however able to connect to At&t, where I wasn't able to a couple of months ago when I was in town.

I didn't select it, I have mobile operators on auto. And have been able to get data and calls with decent quality.

It is only just the first day here but its all very promising.

Apologise for posting here and in previous thread, thought others who wasnt on original thread maybe interested too

Thank you fkr sharing your roaming experiences @-Robot-

It will be interesting to see what does happen when 3G is eventually abandoned.

Enjoy your stay and if relevant to your tariff do keep an eye on your usage.

Enjoy  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

So I hear TMobile is dropping their 3G now, I havent notice it as I am able to connect to AT&T and everything been fine

Still no 5G signal but sure that's a carrier issue over phone

As I know you on other forums too, I am on Vodafone

I'm back in old Blighty
Zero issues whilst in NY, data and roaming worked as expected. It looks like previously issues with at&t is over but others who connect may experience issues as TMobile is dropping 3g now
