My S22 has developed a rattling noise when shaken. Appears to be coming from the camera area. Like the whole camera assembly is loose.
I've chatted online with Samsung uk and was told that it is the camera shutter

"When the camera on your device is operated, a small noise may be heard"

It happens even when the camera is on or off so I don't think It is that. It's quite a loud rattling noise too.

Any help please?

That's the OIS of the lenses mate, 3 of them have OIS. It's normal, try not to shake the phone too much or you could*potentially* damage the OIS system (particularly in the main cam, it's the biggest and fully glass)

Then don't shake it, it's the Camera. You could damage the camera and worse still damage the whole device.

I'm not shaking it vigorously. It makes a sound when I tilt it sideways. Like when I pick it up to answer a call.

They do test the stuff. They just don't expect you to shake your phone about like a mad man..

It's the camera. Probably the OIS in use. Loads of phones do this.
