S22 Ultra wireless charging issues

So

I have 2 genuine Samsung wireless fast charging pads with a fast charge plug socket.  Issues are:

1) either the S22 doesn't go on fast charge at all or when it wants to

2) S22 is showing as 'charging' on screen and also on the pads (fixed blue light) but it is not charging and I suspect is actually discharging.

3) No problem when using a cable

I have played with the battery settings without luck.  This started straight away and it was a P/X I am stuck with it and starting to regret my S21+.

I'm having a similar problem.  My S22 Ultra isn't charging on the Samsung Trio pad (and is discharging when left there overnight, even though the phone and the pad indicate that it is charging).  My S10+ and Samsung Watch charge normally on the pad.  I've restarted the device, removed its Samsung case (which it used to charge successfully in)--nothing seems to work.  Samsung, any suggestions?

Try another cable. Worked for me, no problem since.
