I use the Samsung Leather case which is very good, you should try that. Without a case the phone is slippery, I would be nervous to use the phone without it

The phone can be indeed difficult to hold when it has no case on it @ColinSneddon 

That said people do use the phone without one !!

Some people use skins from place's dBrand..... i.e I use the Black Dragon Back Skin.

I also use the Samsung Black Leather Back Clip on case which provides grip and some protection from accidental bumps.
