My phone had and updated this morning 7th November and now won't connect to my car Bluetooth head unit? Just keeps saying unable to connect have tried to unpair and repair etc but still no luck.. any help?

Always check for app updates in both Google and samsung store.

Do a simple phone restart after any app updates.

Try a wipe cache after a big update.

I've tried to wipe the Bluetooth cache but it won't let me?

have you tried to reset the connection in your car as well? 

My idea is make your car to forget the phone, and make your phone to forget the car.  After both devices have forgotten each other, try to link them again as if they connect for the very first time.

I've cleared them and re paired a few times even wiped and rebooted both devices

Last question, Can you update the car's device somehow? if you can, see which is the latest most recent update and update. The user manual for the device, should provide you with link to check updates, and steps how apply them, and if you need to instal intermediate updates before the last one.
