If it works for you, lucky you, i tried to track the bus ride from work to home. it failed the same way.

The update I received today was also 1.3gb.

My GPS on Google Maps works. Tried it several times and it works.

Only thing is the location symbol (see arrow on picture) that keeps on staying blanc

I don't think that symbol changes unless you're on the map view (not navigation as you are there) and you tap it. It'll cause the view to zoom in to where you are.

Was your GPS not working at all before?

Mine was working for some period of time, and then it would stop working in mapping apps, and the GPS Test app would show no satellites. Only fix I found was rebooting.

Hoping this new version fixes it!

Yes, my GPS did not work at all.

Had my phone a week before the release and it hasn't worked ever since.

The update i received today made it work again... for now 🥳

So your GPS didn't work at all previously, even after a restart?

It's so strange how this issue manifests itself in different ways!

It seems there are some that have never had working GPS.
Some that have it but lose it after a while and need to restart the phone.
Others who have experienced the issue only once or twice since owning.

I guess it's because we all use our phones differently, configure them differently, and use different apps.

Yeah, i tried everything.

Reset APN setting, restarts, Fix gps apps, factory resets, cache memory clearance, etc. I never had working GPS.

Now it finally does.
