Yup same problem with my S22 Ultra. Google Maps and Waze both stop working as soon as I start driving. Very frustrating

Same issue

I will report it to Samsung to document that they will fix it and just wait for an update

Same for me, S22 Ultra f/w version S908BXXU1AVC6 / S908BOXM1AVC6 / S908BXXU1AVC6 (March Update) problem still here. Only full restart helps to get GPS back.

Sadly, that's me out guys -

I contacted help again by Members app, the final straw for me, was being told to contact FB or Twitter as Sam'dung' members cannot help any further.

Im fed up of waiting - Mines going back tomorrow, it's time for me to switch ecosystem and brand....Having used a Samsung since the S9, and upgrading almost every year, this is the poorest iteration of a Samsung handset I've ever used - Random restarts and lacking GPS, for me, are just unforgivable...

I hope everyone gets the updates promised by Sam'dung' but given my lack of assistance with customer service, it's time to make the switch.....

That is appalling behaviour from support. Someone obviously doesn't like their job at Samsung!

Random restarts sounds like a hardware issue, the right thing to do is return it.

I've never had the phone restart onme but I've had better luck with the gps lately, the last thing I tried was disabling Google's find my phone (have the Samsung one enabled) and not doing any battery saving such as adaptive battery or power saving,  but may be completely unrelated and might have been an update to another app. Who knows. Will keep on experimenting.

Enjoy the dark side :smiling-face: I've been tempted every year but I can't get used to IOS due to lack of flexibility. Even vanilla android is not my cup of tea!

Go to settings, then under Google go to find my device option.

The Samsung one is settings, biometrics and security and find my mobile.

It's been 4 days now without issues with gps. One thing I have noticed is when using GNSS viewer recently it now always displays GNSS first fix message while acquiring satellites. I don't recall seeing that everytime prior to this long period of having gps work.

If it fails again though I was going to try if having mobile network all the time affects it. I'm normally using WiFi but when at work I'm using my mobile network and that day last week after work it failed.

I tried the find my phone thing. But it didnt do anything.

Samsung better hurry and fix this problem. It is extremely annoying not having gps. I need it daily.
