S22 Ultra Phone app and SIM Toolkit options greyed out

I received a new S22 Ultra yesterday and used Smart Switch to copy everythign across from my S21+. Everything seems to be fine apart from all the Phone app options are greyed out apart from the Wifi calling toggle and all the options in the SIM Toolkit app are similarly greyed out.

I contacted the network provider (EE) and they say that the SIM card should work fine in the S22 Ultra and they don't need to replace it or send out any over the air updates to it.

I contacted Samsung Live Chat and all they could suggest was a factory reset but as the phone was brand new out of the box yesterday I'm wary that a factory reset might just leave things as they are.

Any suggestions other than a factory reset?

Prob the usual suggestions.

Try cleaning the chip bit of the sim with a dry cloth and re-inserting it

Try enable airplane mode, wait like 30-60secs, then disable it, and see if it picks it up then.

If those attempts fail... Maybe try wipe cache partition

Thanks for that. I live in an area with terrible mobile signal so when at home I rely on WiFi calling and as such my phone is constantly with WiFi calling switched on and Airplane mode always on too. I turned Airplane mode off and all the options became available. As soon as I turned airplane mode on again the options were all greyed out so I just need to remember to switch airplane mode off of I ever want to change options. I assume any options I set are active in airplane mode?
