Hi, My s22 U locked out on me. Worked fine till last usage last night. Woke up to find out its asking for a random password which i never set. I had only Pin + finger print. None of those options are available. Its just keep asking for a password with the error that i need to enter my password every 72 hrs for security reason.
Tried findmyphone as well. The unlock option is not working from there too >>
Anyone experienced similar issues ?? Dont want to factory reset it as i have data which i dont want to loose

If your locked out of the phone then a factory reset may not be an option @thespecialyst22
The various security protocols a phone has are in place to protect the phone and it's contents from being accessed by a stranger.
A Google Search will return sites providing tutorials on how to unlock a phone if a pin or password has been forgotten.
Here's one > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/i-cant-unlock-my-device.
A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre might be able to help and take your ID and proof of purchase to show that you are the rightful owner.
I wish you all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Many thanks for your reply. I ended up doing a manual factory reset. Lost all the data but atleast the phone is back in working order. @BandOfBrothers

This happened to me too last night. I have pattern and fingerprints set up, but it is asking for a password. I tried going to a Samsung store today but they told me it is first come, first served and to try again tomorrow. I tried an mobile repair place authorized by Samsung and they want $100 to reset the phone and I need to know my google password, which I don't as it was saved on the phone.
