Facing issues after OneUi 7.0 update.

Its not booting properly also sometimes stuck in #Boot Loop, #freezes, # Apps crash frequently.

#Process isn't responding

#System Ui isn't responding

#One ui home isn't responding

Service Center told Ram Issue so whole #motherboard has to be changed.

Its happing to many customers.

# Samsung should provide free of cost repair as the issue is solely caused by updating to Official 7.0 Stable version.

Samsung should be #SUED over this issue as it is happening because of their so called STABLE update..

Is there even a scheaduled 'july update'? Or are we just hoping Samsung will fix it, without even recognizing the issues?

Not using wi-fi is also not really an option.

S22 devices will have monthly updates until march 2026, then every 3 months until end of support.

I totally agree that not using wi-fi is only a very temporary workaround but that's better that not using the phone at all :smiling-face:

We can only hope for a quick fix, I guess we are not the only ones impacted.

If not, maybe a full reinstall with Odin can solve the problem but we only can reinstall June version : Bootloader version cannot be downgraded and it just changed on June...

I just took time to try this (transfer MFA and bank apps on another phone before this) :

- restart in recovery mode

- full wipe data/factory reset

- restart in download mode

- flash last firmware (june release) with Odin, without using HOME_CSC (= full erase)

Problem still there. So we cannot do anything on our side, only hope is a new july firmware which solve this bug.

I sent my phone in via the retailer I bought it from through extended warrenty here in Norway, but as far as I can tell, the phone was returned within hours after reaching the service center. So either they know about what causes the issue and fixed it quickly, or the phone was returned without doing anything at all. My bet is on the latter, but I will give an update as soon as it is returned.

Same for me. Happens especially when changing apps but not limited to. Super annoying.

Just got my phone back from the service center, and they actually replaced a defective motherboard on warrenty. But my question is: Is it safe to start using it before the new July update? Or will the problems in the June patch fry the motherboard again?

After completing this update my phone is stuck in bootloop. If I freeze the phone while it's dead I can get to bootloader. But the update ruined my s22 ultra. Samsung should pay for this

I decided to risk it, and tried copying over my stuff with Smart Switch. After 2 days of normal use I have not had any problems with rebooting, wi-fi cutting out or bootloops. So it seems like replacing the defective motherboard did the trick, at least for now.

The question is if something in this update degrades the motherboard over time. The problems might return again in the future if Samsung doesn't fix whatever is causing these issues.

Thanks for your feedback.

My S22 is now rebooting almost all day long.

I'm about to try a Custom ROM flash to confirm that Samsung Firmware is not the root cause and there is a hardware malfunction.

I'm still hestitating because it will fuse the knox flag and some bank accounts may become not functional. I'm not sure Google Wallet works with custom ROM too...
