So I preordered an S22 Ultra and received it recently. Now I know it's a brand new phone that was recently released but mine seems to be and extraordinarily buggy mess. Just navigating through the settings causes it to bug, I tried playing a game and well it froze and the system UI crashed, I had to restart it to get it fixed again. I really do hope they fix these in the next update, because its a pain.
Did you use smart switch to set up your phone. I have found at times that using this can cause issues. Particularly if migrating data from a non Samsung phone. I tend to backup all my data using my Samsung account. Then setup the new phone by restoring from the backed up data. Then go into play store and into my app library and download my apps. To be honest it doesn't really take much longer and doing this, the cookies and other stuff specific to your old phone won't get transferred over. Not to mention that going into you play store app library, you can download the apps you want to keep as we all have apps we don't use on out devices taking up memory. If you don't want to setup the phone again. Maybe try clearing your Partition Cache.
Sorry to hear but not seeing this with mine. Works smoothly but just the battery drain which I'm hoping they sort out. Annoying to do but you tried resetting?
Mine is a mess too, pretty gutted. I upgraded from a note 9, which is nearly 4 years old, and found that phone to be quicker despite having a fraction of the power.
I'm also finding the optical zoom quality (3x) to be really poor quality
I don't know either. I hate returning stuff so much... i feel i want some transparancy in terms of what issues they're aware of and working on to fix, i.e. to distinguish between what's just my handset and what is affecting many
Gonna try xlearing the cache partition. Some people say smart switch causes problems but i have too much on my phone for not-smart-switching to ever be convenient
