Got my new S22 Ultra

First impressions are good, it's much faster and battery life is looking good

Am I alone in thinking the camera seems a bit lacklustre? I know it's supposed to be better at night photography, but the pics I've taken in daylight so far have been a bit underwhelming.

May be it can be improved in software?

I'm a point and click type of picture taker myself @Rob99  🙄

Have you given the various camera settings i.e Pro Mode etc a go ?

I've seen a few pictures in the Photography Thread I set up which look good.

I'm sure we'll see various software updates that may include camera enhancements.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yeah I've all different modes. It may just be me, the weather hasn't been great lately, it may be better in sunshine. Thanks!

How so, were the pictures too sharp, the colour science not good? There's natural and vivid mode. I am trying to understand why you feel that way.

Mine is quite the opposite. The battery is okay but not good.

Will use it for sometime to determine if this is the normal.

Well to me, the colours seem a bit washed out, but as I say, that may be down to the British weather! The sharpness is good, just the colours

Notice the 108 megapixel lens seems to produce blurry photos on the S22 Ultra. Other lens seem pretty much the same as S21 Ultra.

I took some photos with my S22 Ultra today and I can see the improvements compared to the Note 20 Ultra, which is still a very good camera setup.

They've improved the HDR, I can see more details in the shadows area.
The versatility is great, overall brighter and the colours are better.

I've tried full screen, high resolution, detail enhancer and focus enhancer, maybe my eyes are getting old! I guess you're right, I'm sure there will be improvements via software. Thanks to all

In my findings dynamic range is baaad in 108MP , pictures are underwhelming, LOT Of noise, less clarity20220223_085740_23776_1645606668.jpg20220223_085718_23773_1645606639.jpg20220223_085722_23774_1645606646.jpg20220223_085715_23772_1645606636.jpg
