Noticed my NFC was turning itself off so I restarted my phone and it gets stuck in a boot loop for a while, it eventually stops and loads up normally, it does send a crash report so I'm wondering if this is related to an update.

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Try a hard reset

With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.

Still doing boot loops, every loop causes something to stop working, i.e., touch screen, no keyboard, tab page

Factory reset it then. Backup if you really need to.

Have a look at some other threads. Sounds like a lot of people had the same issue, myself included. Had to send for repair (S22 Ultra).

This is mostly due to One UI 6.1. The update messes with the motherboard, which ends up causing all sorts of issues. It damages something, and out of nowhere, you’re hit with a bootloop.

I remember the S22 Serie wasn't supposed to get the AI updates, but Samsung changed its mind and rushed it out. Now we’re stuck dealing with the fallout. This AI One UI 6.1 sh*t wasn’t meant for the S22 series, and it feels like they tried to fit a square peg in a round hole. Now we have to deal with this mess.

My phone just got stuck on the boot loop after updating to One UI 6.1 a week back. Samsung should do a recall for theses devices, not fair to get a flagship then get stuck with their update that way

Hey  @AOD007

Let's try a soft reset to see if this helps. You can do this by holding the Power and Volume Down buttons for around 10 seconds. If this doesn't help, we'd like you to start your phone in 'Safe mode' by holding the Power button > Hold the 'Power off' icon > Tap 'Safe mode' when it appears. To exit the mode, simply restart your phone.

For more information on 'Safe mode', check out the following link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

What if the phone doesn't even turn on properly, just after Samsung logo and galaxy secured by knox it restarts and switches off then turns on again?
