Edit: solved. There's a link to download an invoice on the order tracking page in your Samsung account.
Hoping someone can provide some clarification here, but from where I'm standing it lokks like Samsung is making it impossible to claim the promotional offer of a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro when preordering an S22 device direct from the Samsung online store (it may be different if you get your device through a network operator).
According to the forms that you have to fill in to claim the buds, acceptable documents for proof of purchase are: a store receipt, an invoice, an order confirmation or a delivery note. The information that the document must show clearly is the date of purchase, the retailer name or logo, and the product purchased.
Documents that I have are an order confirmation e-mail and a packing list. Neither the name Samsung nor the Samsung logo appears on the order confirmation e-mail and the date of purchase does not appear on the packing list. We don't get an invoice (which I actually find shocking in and of itself!). So, in other words, it appears that Samsung is making perfectly reasonable requests to ensure that only eligible customers can claim the promotional offer, but not actually giving said customers a means to prove their eligibility.
Any ideas on how to proceed?

@LeoXXL an IMEI number is not proof of purchase. It simply identifies the phone, it doesn't prove that I purchased it.
The application process requests the IMEI number anyway as well as proof of purchase.

It worked
I got the e-mail confirming I'd submitted the claim. Then I got another e-mail saying the claim had been approved, but a bit quicker than @AAA19 . I got the approval e-mail 31 seconds later!
