Due to my disability I've been using a combination of the assistant menu and one handed mode to control my Samsung phones for years and it has worked great. Now out of the blue the assistant menu disappeared on me, so I went into the settings to turn it back on only to find out that to do so it turns off one handed mode. (was this added in OneUI 5?)
Is there any way to have them enabled at the same time as it is making harder for me to use my phone?
Also please Samsung change it back so it's possible to use both at the same time.

Did you try to use One Hand Operation +?

Doesn't really fulfill my need since it doesn't have physical controls or screen rotation

I just realized this. I used to use both assistant menu and one handed mode together without any issue. But, after the latest update, I can only one of that at once. I'll need to turn on the other to use any one of them.

My only reason in using the assistant menu was to use one tap option while receiving the call and turning off the alarm. I don't like swiping in order to pickup calls. Samsung should include option for either tap or swipe to receive call or manage alarm. It is really inconvenient to keep the assistant menu on the side of the screen which I never use. Just in order to use one tap option, I have to keep the assistant menu on the screen. And now i can't use one handed mode to use one tap option.
