LATER EDIT : THE ISSUE HAS NOW BEEN FIXED FOLLOWING THE RECENT UPDATES

Hi everyone,

I have a dilemma and I am hoping that someone found a fix for it.

If i record a video with my S22 Ultra and then edit it in the Gallery app to add background music, whenever I save and then share the video the other person receives it but without any sound!
But when I open it on my phone, the background music is there, loud and very clear.

I've tried sharing it on WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Messenger but the result is the same : the receiver cannot hear anything when playing back the video recording.
I remember it used to work on my previous Samsung Notes.

It's frustrating and I want to know if anyone else has a solution to this.

Thank you!

@MadalinK Hello, try sharing the video as a file and not as a video. Does it work?

@MadalinK Try to have all the updates up to date, both for Apps and for the system, greetings.

It made absolutely no difference, still no sound at the receiving end.

@MadalinK hello, try the following: when editing the video, click on the three dots at the bottom right / Size and format-deactivate the High efficiency video option and then save the edited video. Has it worked?

I tried this but it still doesn't work. The high efficiency was turned off anyway. I even tried changing the resolution.

@MadalinK: Does this only occur when you add background music via the editing feature of the Gallery app? When you add the music, are you selecting a Free License option, or you own music files?
