Hi guys, hoping someone would be able to help me out. I recently had my S22 Ultra stolen off my hand while in London. I now have a replacement and got most of my data back which i care about, except for my thousands of photos.

Anyone know any neat tricks to get my photos? Much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you've been subjected to this horrible experience @BenJ439  😔

You will have had to set up your photo's to back up to One Drive or another vault such as Dropbox etc.

A Samsung Backup no longer captures photo's @BenJ439

So if you did set up to auto backup to OneDrive then have a look at their support pages on how to use your back ups in your new phone. Google Search is your friend  😎

If you didn't set this up them I'm afraid the photo's would have been stored locally in your phone's Gallery and now lost.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I had a feeling what you said would be the case and was hoping for otherwise. I dont use Onedrive or anything else similar. 🫠

Unfortunately then the photo's would have been stored locally in the phone's Gallery and now sadly lost @BenJ439

It is a shame what you experienced. Both the theft of the handset plus the loss of data. I feel sorry that you didn't/couldn't backup to the cloud beforehand. Please at least, buy a SSD. I use the T7 Touch from Samsung. I manually and periodically (at least once a week) backup important photos to the T7. It is so quick to do. The data transfer/copying speeds are just insane. At least then you've always got a backup.
