Gallery sync with one drive

My Gallery suddenly stopped syncing with one drive 5 days ago. I have disconnected, signed out, rebooted phone, connected etc again. Nothing has worked. When I try and sync manually it says it can't sync whilst connected to a mobile hot spot. It's actual connected to my home WiFi as usual. I have asked it to sync over mobile data and turned off WiFi. Still won't work. Any help gratefully received.

I FOUND IT!
AT&T ActiveArmor App is the culprit

On the Internet tab in ActiveArmor, disabled "Safe Browsing" and "Public Wi-Fi Protection"
Works afterwards.

Hi, did you manage to fix this issue? I have exactly the same problem. My Samsung Gallery and my OneDrive account were syncing without problems until, one day, the sync stopped, and there was no way to make it work again. I've tried erasing the cache of the apps, deleting and re-installing them again but nothing seems to help. If you managed to fix it, I would like to hear your solution. Thank you.

I did, and the problem I found was the app called "AT&T Active Armor"
You can test this by uninstalling it. If you don't have that app, it could be any other app that forces you onto a VPN. The "Safe Browsing" feature in Active Armor was doing just that, forcing the phone onto a VPN even when at home. Another quick test is to get off wifi and sync with mobile network -- if sync works on mobile data, it's a sure sign it's some kind of wifi security type app.

I don't know if this has been covered already, but I too was having similar problem for last 11 days since UI 7.0 was installed. I tried everything at leased once every day sometimes more, but always from the One Drive side nothing worked, then I decided to try from the Gallery App prospective with the following...

1. From Gallery app, stop sync with One Drive.

2. In Settings/Apps Gallery App details, force stop, delete cache and data, quickly before app restarts, you may need to do this a few times.

3. In Gallery App, re enable One Drive, and wait for Sync to complete

Worked for me, hope this helps someone
