Detail enhancer: Dark strip on the right side of the photos.

Hi everyone! I am a galaxy S22 Ultra user since end of August 2022. I am very happy with the phone. Recently I noticed a problem with detail enhancer: 

When I take a photo with detail enhancer on, the right side (the buttom side) of the photo will be covered with dark strip (My fingers are not near the lens, the lenses are clear). On the foto withou detail enhancer everything is ok. Even if I take a picture and then fastly move to gallery, I can see normal foto and then again the dark strip after the detail enhancer procces´s been finished.

Below are two photos: 1) is done without the detail enhancer, 2) with detail enhancer. Both of them are taken at the same place, at the same time.

So the darker part of the photo can be seen. It really annoys me and I don´t understand why it happens. Below are some other photos with the dark area on the right.

I hope, this is some bug with software that can be fixed and the camera is ok.

I´ll be thankful for any help.

Maybe you can bring out more detail on post production by boosting the shadows. Essentially you are balancing the grey parts of the image. Highlights may be slightly boosted so dropping will help.

I don't really trust samsungs colour processing to get everything right. That goes for any camera really.

Another thing I would also do is stop using the detail enhancer and report your bug to samsung developers.

Also you can go under the camera app settings. Look for contact us and submit a report or ask for support there.

Click on the support tab, scroll down and in send feedback, select error report

I sent an error report and I also contacted Samsung support via email. Unfortunately, they concluded that local support does not do any development (which is obvious), and they was not really helpful in forwarding the issue to the Samsung developers.
So sending error report seems to be quite useless, as the developers who could fix the issue do not receive it. Really disappointing.

It´s really sad. I hope, an update will fix the problem. But for now, I am really dissapointed and just don´t use detail enhancer anymore 😞
