Jusy purchased a samsung s22 ultra. What percentage is best to charge it from or can i drain it completely and then charge to 100%

What I would suggest in order to extend your battery health for as long as possible is set the charging limit to 85% which you can do in the battery options settings, and charger it whenever it drops between 20%-25%.

Generally I would say the optimum level is 20-80% ,though the charging limit option in Samsung Devices should be fine.  However you need to factor in if you will have sufficient charge for the day (in cases where you do not have access to a charger)   Certainly should not let it drop below 15% anyway. I charge my phone to 100% and do not let it drop below 15%.

For me I find this keeps my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra in good order..
