'Camera Failed' error message. Any tips?

For the last couple of weeks, the camera on my S22 Ultra has been malfunctioning. In normal photo mode, I always get an error message 'Camera Failed' and the camera just shuts down. It seems fine in selfie mode, pro and video etc. The only time normal photo mode works is if I switch the resolution to 108MP. I've reset the camera settings, cleared cache and data, and restarted in safe mode. All with no joy. This morning there was a software update. This did absolutely nothing. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have a fix?

I have new galaxy buds 2 pro, galaxy book 2 Pro 360 and this phone. None of which have ever worked flawlessly from new. I feel so close to the end of my tether with Samsung. 

Hope someone can help!

I would suggest to send this feedback via your Samsung Members App to see if they can help @dotdotdot 

A factory reset after a back up would be the last resort. 

A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

Mines the same today, have you managed to get it working ? I've done everything apart from factory reset

Thanks bandofbrothers. I did wonder how I can get this seen by Samsung. I'll give this a go. Is there a specific part of the app to submit the feedback?

Unfortunately not. Going to follow bandofbrothers' advice abi e and see where that gets me

Exactly the same yes. The phones only 9 weeks old

I called my network who I bought the phone from and they said to return it to them for repair. Such a big faff for what seems to be a software issue.
