Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

Having come from using pixel phones I didn't know there was a samsung phone app, I assumed it was just part of Google/Android.
Having checked it looks like I'm using the samsung app. So I've just installed the Google phone app and will try it but not expecting it to fix anything, especially not the poor signal issue or connection to hearing ***** which is an issue across all apps.
And, if your using the google phone app and I'm using the samsung one, and we're both having the same issue I can't expect much difference really.

Today the support came with a brilliant idea: boot in safe mode, see if it happens. If yes then install each 3d part app one by one to see which is causing the issue.
Sure thing... After all I don't need the apps installed on my device and I can easily live 1-2 days without 2FA or messaging...
C'mon Samsung

Sounds about right.
They just want you to jump through the same hoops without admitting there is a fundimental problem with the phone.
I wonder if they even read these posts.

I don't think they are reading these posts. We should find a way to complain and make ourselves heard.
Do you have any ideas?? Like commenting every post on Instagram or every tweet?
I am really tired of the situation.

The most frustrating part is exactly this. We know Samsung has not (yet) acknowledged the problem officially so we don't know what to expect.
The main question is how many people are facing this issue?

This is indeed a serious issue that has been around since the phone came out. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. This will be my last Samsung phone.

not for me actually, the problem started about 1 month ago. Maybe a bit earlier for my gf.
Anyway, I had other brands in the past (last was Oppo), trust me, they are not better at all.

Another day of no sound on phone calls, bluetooth disconnections, and restarting to temporarily fix it.

While I understand your frustration (I find these issues and attitude unacceptable from Samsung), I believe not so many people are having this problem. At least I can't find "many" posts or complaints about this.

Same issue here. Samsung S22 Ultra (SM-S90BB/DS) EU Exynos (Belgium) with latest updates. I only use one SIM card. Sometimes after answering the phone, I hear nothing, neither does the other side. Only solution is to restart the phone. I disabled Wi-Fi calling in the phone app but doesn't solve it. I already missed 2 important calls. I hope it will be remediated. For now, I'm going back to my previous GSM that still works. I bought it one month and a week ago.
