Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

I have the S22+ and have this problem. I've only had it a month and unsure whether to return it and get a different phone as it doesn't look like this problem is going to get fixed. I'm having to restart it all the time just to receive/make calls. Absolutely ridiculous!

Yep but that's not a perfect workaround because yesterday I was able to do some calls during the morning. And then in the afternoon I encountered the problem again when I called someone.
Maybe I should reboot it every hours. But then I will miss some calls too. And since the latest update this stupid thing is asking for a PIN to unlock the secure folder after every reboot...
I really hope that OneUI 5 final release will fix this bug. Otherwise, I will replace my S22.

Am having the same problem even with the beta software. Am glad I am not the only one but am not happy that a basic function of a phone hasn't been addressed by Samsung.

Same problem for me with my S22 (standard version), very annoying! The only solution is to reboot everytime it happen.
And no problem with calls on applications like Messenger or WhatsApp.

I've owned the S22 Ultra from release and I have been having this problem for the last few months, I make and receive like 100 calls a day for work and this has ruined my phone, I've had Samsung's since the S7 but I've had enough. I was gunna buy an iPhone again last weekend the only thing that stopped me was they are all out of stock. How have they not said anything about this issue?

I am using S22 Ultra (Snapdragon) and started having this problem yesterday, there's a clear drop in the call which is very annoying
Very disappointing to have such a basic problem with the flagship of the company

This is very interesting. I thought it was affecting exynos CPU only.
Anyway, today I experienced something new. I was in a call and suddenly the counterpart couldn't hear me anymore. Before closing the call I realized my mic was muted (and of course I did not do it). After clicking the mic icon everything went back to normal.
Probably just a fatality

Hello ! A temp solution is to install another call application (ex:google) and to make it as default app for calls. It's actually working fine for me.

Actually I was always using Google phone app. Nothing changed when I switched. Anyway it seems to be working since mid July
